A parent’s day was organized by Assistant Scout Leader Amrith Singalaxana and Instructor Nirmal De Alwis under the guidance of Group Scout Leader M. E. Weragoda and Group Advisor Sujiv Fonseka. A demonstration of a campsite was showcased along with a Monkey bridge pioneering project was also showcased. An investiture was also coordinated and cub Scouts who wished to start Scouting were transitioned by Headmaster N. Y. Casie Chetty.
The event was graced by CC C. Batuwangala, Miss Gita Perera. DC Janaprith Fernando and other well wishers.
